Challenge Bathurst is an invitation-only regularity event and we are very lucky to be invited to join in again for 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to tick off one of your bucket list items and drive on one of the best circuits in the world. You only need a level 2 or above Motorsport Australia licence, you don't need to have a fully prepared race car - any vehicle that you use at a normal sprint day will be eligible as long as it is a BMW and passes scrutineering.
This year we have been offered 55 spots at a cost of $2000 per entrant. Your spot will only be secured once full payment has been received.
All paperwork will need to be returned completed too.
We will have 9 pit lane garages for all competing.
Once we have made the full payment to Challenge Bathurst, all refunds and cancellations are subject to Challenge Bathurst's cancellation policy.
What is a Regularity ?
A regularity is a timed competition event, where you nominate a lap time which you need to try to match each lap. This is not racing door to door, but allows you to drive at a pace that is comfortable for you and your car.
We will also need to supply 10 flag marshalls to help on the Thursday and Friday.

We need your help, so please ask your fellow club members to come along and help out. Arrive early and volunteer as a flag marshal and help those who normally help you drive. Please remember without volunteers you cannot have fun on the track, so this is your way of giving back. All volunteers will be offered free camping or accommodation at the Uni, fee applies. Register here to volunteer for specific days.
Any drivers volunteering on the Thursday and Friday will be able to go through scrutineering on Wednesday.

There will be no stock at the track; orders will be all done via pre-ordering. All drivers will be required to wear team merchandise. Please note these come up large, so order 1 size smaller.

We'll meet at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm departure from the Ceres School Car Park, 605 Barrabool Road, Ceres VIC 3221.
The Great Ocean Road is always a great drive and Lorne is in reach for dinner, so let's go there!
Starting at Ceres (just off the Geelong Ring Road) and ending at the Lorne Hotel Bistro, which is upstairs and has a great view - we may even score a table by the window.
Once at the hotel, you can choose to leave or stay for a natter, a drink (hot or cold!) or dinner - or all 3!. I have made a booking for dinner, so please indicate your intentions - not binding. Seats may be limited.
The start time is set to allow the dive to be complete before kangaroo o'clock.
We recommend updating to the latest version of the TourBoss app. Go to your Google or Apple store on your phone, search on TourBoss and click on Update. The latest version is 1.5.1 rev 3296. To check your version, open TourBoss, click on the cog wheel for "Settings", and the version is displayed.
We will be using UHF radios to communicate. If you have your own, please use channel 17. if you'd like to purchase your own, you can order our recommended complete kit here, or a radio alone here.

Join us for a late afternoon / early evening drive on some excellent driving roads with great scenery, just beyond the outskirts of Melbourne. We'll finish for dinner at the historic Panton Hill Hotel, voted this year as Triple M's Best Pub in Melbourne.
We'll meet by 5.45pm for a 6.00pm departure from Chirnside Park. The Route Instructions show the precise meeting point, so you'll need to download this from the final reminder for the event. We plan to arrive at Panton Hill around 7.30pm for dinner.
All food and drink is at the individual's expense on the day. Registration, including guest numbers, ensures adequate dinner seating at this popular venue.

Bring the family for a picnic, enjoy all the amazing cars on display and explore the wonders of this truly amazing Melbourne Landmark.
You can enter the show and shine, just display your car or just join us for a picnic lunch.
The Show and Shine will have an 'open' category for any non-BMW cars, no matter whether Ford, GM or any other make! We know there are plenty of amazing cars out there and we would love to see them on the day, even if you don't enter the judging.

Only BMWDCM members may enter the Show and Shine competition, but visitors are welcome to display cars and join for the picnic lunch.
We will have a BBQ there in the morning with egg and bacon rolls which will just be a donation in the charity tin. Huge thank you to the guys and gals from All Residential/All Commercial Real Estate and All Marque Storage for giving their time to cook breakfast for us all and to Bell Motorsport for donating the food.
There are scattered picnic tables in the gardens but I would advise you to bring your own picnic chairs and tables to be safe. No rubber backed Picnic Rugs are allowed on the lawns.
Coffee and cold drinks will be available to purchase at the venue.
There will be ample parking for those not participating in the show and shine or the display but still want to join us for a bit of fun.
We have been in contact with Santa and he said he will be swinging by to check out all the little kiddies and big kiddies to make sure you have been good in 2025. There will be Christmas raffles, so make sure you bring cash with on you on the day.
Products will be available for sale on the day from Sonax Australia.
Show and Shine judging will be in classes of similar age cars: the exact classes will be determined by entries so as to have about the same number in each class. This is not a concours event; originality is not a criterion. It is all about how well the car is cleaned and presented. No demerits for stone chips or the like. The Show and Shine competition is open to BMWDCM members only.

Twilight Drive to Coldstream Brewery
Join us for a relaxed late afternoon and early evening drive through some of Melbourne’s most scenic and enjoyable roads, just beyond the city’s northern fringe. This is the perfect way to wind down the day—with great company, beautiful views, and a delicious dinner to finish.
Meeting Point & Departure
We’ll gather at Yan Yean Reservoir Park (northern end) by 5:45pm for a 6:00pm departure. Please refer to the Route Instructions for the exact meeting location—these will be available in the final event reminder.
️Dinner at Coldstream Brewery
Our drive will conclude at the Coldstream Brewery, a local favourite known for its warm atmosphere and excellent food. We expect to arrive around 7:30pm, with dinner planned for 7:45pm.

We will meet in Officer at 1.30pm to leave at 2.00pm. After a stop half-way in Warburton, we'll head up into the mountains via Reefton Spur, to arrive around 5.00pm in Marysville. That leaves some time to explore the town, perhaps drive & walk to Steavenson Falls, or simply relax at the bar (if you're not driving afterwards). Dinner will be at 6.00pm at Elevation 423 Bar & Restaurant.
After dinner, you could return home or you have the option of arranging to stay overnight in Marysville and, in the morning, stroll through the town and enjoy the local shops or take a walk up to Steavenson Falls and enjoy the beautiful view. There are some good bushwalks in the area too.
