We look forward to welcoming you to an upcoming event. If, for any reason you need to cancel your registration, please review our cancellation policy, found here.
The shift back to the earlier, traditional date ensures the event will continue to avoid clashes with other major international races, ensuring the maximum opportunity for the world’s best GT teams and drivers to attend.
The event will continue to open both the domestic motorsport scene as well as doubling as the opening round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge, a position it has held since the launch of the global GT3 competition in 2016.
Strong interest has already been received from potential 2025 entries, with the race set to potentially welcome a host of brand-new models with the Ferrari 296 GT3, Ford Mustang GT3 and Chevrolet Corvette GT3 all becoming eligible to compete for the first time.
Be sure to join our group in an exclusive Pit Lane Corporate Suite in 2025 on top of the pit building complex, offering great viewing of the main straight and pit lane. Enjoy the freedom of being able to come and go all day and have the security of being part of our own Executive Suite.

As you probably know the recent fires in the Halls Gap area have caused a lot of damage not only to the countryside but also to the local businesses which rely on January holiday trade for their base income.
This short trip is to have an enjoyable few of days at Halls Gap and help boost the local economy mid week after the school term has started.
The plan is for those coming from the Geelong side of town, to meet up with those coming from Melbourne at Ballan, have a quick coffee, and then leave at about 10:30 am to drive to Halls Gap. As the aim is to spend money in Halls Gap we will drive directly there and be there for lunch.
Once in Halls Gap there are many things to do. We are developing a plan which will probably include the Zoo and Adventure Golf (fancy name for crazy golf) but you can do your own thing if you wish.
We will try and sort a half day drive, road access permitting, to somewhere scenic on interesting roads.
The return trip will be the reverse of the outbound trip, leaving Halls Gap probably after a slightly early morning tea to arrive at Ballan by about 12:30 pm, a good time for lunch before heading home.
Please book your own accomodation. To make the trip more friendly it would be nice if we all stayed at one location, but please suit yourself. We have selected the Kookaburra Motor Lodge . All their rooms have Queen beds, even those called "Twin"!
We highly recommend you have a UHF radio with you on all our drives. We will be on channel 17. or as advised on the day.
Please give as much advance notice as possible if your ability to attend the event changes.

There will be a competition for the "Best in Show" with a range of different categories. There is no entry fee for the competition and no obligation to actively join in, but you may be surprised with a prize!

There will also be a separate event on the Saturday to cruise to Torquay joining the pre-Torquay Motor Show cruise. We will list that as a separate event when details become available.
If you intend to stay in the Torquay area book early - February is still part of their high season and places get booked out quickly. The Torquay Hotel has some accommodation but there are many other options, including the 20 minute drive back into Geelong.
For those staying overnight we plan to organise a dinner at the Torquay Hotel for a bistro style dinner, in the bistro section (not the public bar) at 7pm on the Saturday. View the menu here.
On the day we will meet up at a location to be advised at 7.45am so that we can drive into the show as a group and park together.

We have been invited to provide a display of club members' cars at the Australian F1 Grand Prix 14 March to 16th March 2025
This is a much sought after opportunity to display your car to a large and enthusiastic International audience. As we have only 10 spots available this year we may not be able to accept all of those who register - but you have to be in it to win it!
This year we are featuring "50 Years of 3 Series", so priority will be given to getting one 3 Series from each generation. E90. F30 and G20 generations are likely to be he hardest for us to get. Other models will be considered, of course, so don't hold back. Bottom line, we need 10 cars!
All persons registering with an expressions of interest must send a photo of the car you are wishing to display to president@bmwdcm.com.au as well as completing this registration. You can submit multiple cars using multiple registrations, but only one car per member will be accepted. The car which is accepted must be the car you bring.
If we do not have both registration and photo at the close of the expressions of interest period, your car will not be considered for this display.
This is a BMW only display and open only to financial members.
All successful members will receive two General Admission tickets to the 2025 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix valued at more than $500, plus two tickets for the Saturday networking BBQ Lunch (food and soft drinks provided) and a special edition cap.
Cars will be required to enter the circuit on Wednesday, 12th March, 2025 at a time notified closer to the event, but it will be during business hours. You will then not be able to remove your car from the circuit until after the race on Sunday, 16th March, 2025, when we are advised by the security team. This may be 8pm. Because of circuit security and safety, it will not be possible for cars to enter late or leave early.
You are not required to be at the display in person except for drop off and pick up. But we would expect members to be with the display cars for a reasonable period at some point during the weekend to interact with other members and the public. You can use your car as a storage locker to save having to take chairs and other items in and out each day.
There will be overnight security.
All successful members will be notified as soon as possible after the cut off date.
If successful, a payment of $175 per car will be due within 24 hours of notification to secure your spot. Wait for an invoice before paying! Failure to pay and your spot may be passed onto someone else.

Of course, we will be sticking to ordinary, bitumen roads as usual!)

Round 6 of the 2025 Traction Tyres/Yokohama Drivers Championship is at Broadford, hosted by Alfa Romeo Owners Club Vic.
Challenge Bathurst is an invitation-only regularity event and we are very lucky to be invited to join in again for 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to tick off one of your bucket list items and drive on one of the best circuits in the world. You only need a level 2 or above Motorsport Australia licence, you don't need to have a fully prepared race car - any vehicle that you use at a normal sprint day will be eligible as long as it is a BMW and passes scrutineering.
This year we have been offered 55 spots at a cost of $2000 per entrant. Your spot will only be secured once full payment has been received.
All paperwork will need to be returned completed too.
We will have 9 pit lane garages for all competing.
Once we have made the full payment to Challenge Bathurst, all refunds and cancellations are subject to Challenge Bathurst's cancellation policy.
What is a Regularity ?
A regularity is a timed competition event, where you nominate a lap time which you need to try to match each lap. This is not racing door to door, but allows you to drive at a pace that is comfortable for you and your car.
We will also need to supply 10 flag marshalls to help on the Thursday and Friday.
Please watch this video. Volunteers register here.
We need your help, so please ask your fellow club members to come along and help out. Arrive early and volunteer as a flag marshal and help those who normally help you drive. Please remember without volunteers you cannot have fun on the track, so this is your way of giving back. All volunteers will be offered free camping or accommodation at the Uni, fee applies. Register here to volunteer for specific days.
Any drivers volunteering on the Thursday and Friday will be able to go through scrutineering on Wednesday.
Team merchandise will also be available to order through this link.
There will be no stock at the track; orders will be all done via pre-ordering. All drivers will be required to wear team merchandise. Please note these come up large, so order 1 size smaller.
This is available to all current members of all invited BMW Affiliated clubs.
Not a BMW Club member? Easy, join here.
You will need to find your own accommodation and transportation to get there.
Full payment will be required on registration.
Full details will be sent out on the running of the event in July with further paperwork.
ALL paperwork needs to be completed or you will be deemed as not entered and you will miss your spot.
We will need volunteers to help run the team. If you are able to volunteer, or have someone in your family prepared to help, please register for that here.
Please review the short YouTube video here, which may help you with your booking.
Full Entry forms are not yet available. We will send all the necessary paper work out as soon as we receive them.
