National Motoring Heritage Cavalcade

Its National Motoring Heritage Day on Sunday May 19 - a day to get as much of our motoring heritage out and in view as possible.

What is heritage?

Well, anything really but the older the better. Bring what you've got, older if you have the choice. BMW for preference but who's counting?

We'll be joining a cavalcade from the north of Geelong, along the Geelong waterfront, on to Torquay to drive along The Esplanade and finish at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery in time for lunch.

The start point is a regular "coffee and cars" style casual meet up which starts at 9 am, so you can arrive any time after that but be there by about 10 am please. 

Departing at 10:30 am we should reach the Chocolaterie by about 11:40 am. 

Stay as long as you like.

Drive instructions will be forwarded in the reminder email. 

We will be using UHF radios to communicate.  If you have your own, please use channel 17.  if you'd like to purchase your own, this radio is what many of our members use.
